There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be

Something brought you here today. What do you want to remember, document or celebrate? Whatever it is, you won’t regret preserving the simple joys of their childhood and your family’s love and connection exactly as it is right now.

It’s a privilege for me to be part of this experience with you.

1. We’ll Chat

Every family is little different so we’ll start by chatting over the phone so I can get a better picture of your family. Whether you have a few questions OR have no idea where to start we’ll go over everything — what to wear and where to have your session to setting up your contract, deposit and session date.

2. We’ll Meet

On your session day, we’ll meet at a local park and your family will get to enjoy some easy activities like reading, walking, playing, or blowing bubble. All you have to do is be present with your family and go with the flow even if it might feel at times things aren’t going perfectly – trust the process and lightening fast shutter speed to work it’s magic.

3. You’ll See Your Images

You’ll view and download your gallery of images from the comfort of your home and can share them with whomever you’d like. Then I’ll begin putting your photo book or album together, you’ll choose your animal-friendly cover and will be flipping through the pages of a beautifully designed book before you know it.

When Should We Do This?

Spring or Fall months are most comfortable weather-wise and visually pleasing with nature in full bloom for outdoor sessions.

Golden hour, the hour before sunset, is when most photographers want to schedule your session because of the soft, gentle lighting. But this can be as late as 7pm depending on the time of year. To me, happy kids are equally important, so we can plan for a couple hour earlier if it’s better.

Since golden hour changes over the year, plan to schedule your outdoor session approx. at these times:

Apr, May, Jun – 6 pm
Sept, Oct – 5:30 pm
Nov, Dec – 4 pm

Where Should We Do This?

I recommend a park-like setting with a lake or reservoir for the pleasant color palette and peaceful environment.

My three favorite spots are:

-Turkey Swamp Park (Freehold, NJ)
-Manasquan Reservoir (Howell, NJ)
-Mercer County Park (West Windsor, NJ)

What Do We Wear?

Dress up or down based on what feels right for your family’s personality but below are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Keep it simple.
  2. Dress in neutral and solid colors.
  3. One or two people can wear a minimal pattern
(ie like mom in a delicate floral dress or son in a striped shirt).

BONUS TIP: You can also coordinate your outfits with the book/album colors you’re considering. See book/album colors here, then scroll to the bottom of the page.

What Do We Do With the Images?

The most common things I hear are “I can’t decide which images to choose”, “I don’t have wall space“, or “I never ended up printing anything” so I’ve got you covered with packages that include all your essentials – your session, digital images, plus a keepsake.

No getting stuck on which images to keep, not having wall space or future regrets of not getting around to printing – it’s all taken care of. Otherwise, you can post, print and share your images as you’d like – super simple.

What If I don’t like the images, or my child or mother nature doesn’t cooperate?!

I want to make sure you have nothing to lose so in the event that something unexpected happens or you’re unhappy, you can choose to reschedule your session on a new day OR be fully refunded.
