Who’s up for making some summertime memories!
Summer is here! For most kiddos, perhaps the most delightful time of the year 🙂
This is the perfect opportunity to capture true childhood moments.
Let’s work with the hotter weather and plan for very casual, playful photo session.
Think beaches and parks, playgrounds, ice cream trips, or even a backyard session and running through the sprinkler to keep cool.
Summer photo-shoots are much more successful by keeping the session style more lifestyle and playful AS OPPOSED TO to posed and planned – save those types of sessions for the Spring and the Fall!
Late afternoon, or early evening is the way to go for the summer…still hot but perhaps less hot as the sun goes down a bit.
Sunset is much later during June, July and August so sessions can be scheduled as late as 6:30 to 7:3o pm!
Be sure to generally dress in lighter colors (white, light grey, khaki, pale blues and pinks) but feel free to throw in some pops of bright colors. Don’t forget the sunscreen and to stay hydrated!
And most important, aim for a shorter session, no more than 30 minutes, this way we minimize bright red and sweaty faces 🙂
